Devon Kay & The Solutions have a new song out today called "Anything At All" and it rocks!

October 21, 2019

Devon Kay (he/his) has waited practically his entire life to force you into a conversation about the limits of the human body and the restrictions of the depressed mind. I know, just the kind of stuff you like to talk about, right? Well, on his band Devon Kay & The Solutions’ latest single, “Anything At All,” he does just that.

“It’s a song about a time in my life when everyone was fighting for some reason,” he explains. “It was recorded immediately after we finished our last record, and was really the beginning of us experimenting with a fuller, 6-piece lineup and an expanded sound.”

Imagine this –– a super-group of Chicago musicians playing their feelings in a major key. It’s honestly never been done before, or at least not this well. Prepare to ponder your very existence as you power through the last sip of your mostly-backwashed Pabst, because Devon Kay & The Solutions are showing no signs of slowing down. After spending the last year working on new music and re-building the very nature of what a Devon Kay & The Solutions record could sound like, the band is gearing up to release a new album in 2020.

The album will inevitably be an adrenaline-filled, white-knuckle ride into the terrifying mind of Devon Kay as he explores what makes him tick, for better or worse. Simply put, life isn’t too short; it’s too long.
